Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Private Nanny or two Nannies to care for two children, a 1-year-old and a 6-year-old, in New York City, USA. Both children have full-time weekday nannies.
The Private Nannies we are seeking will primarily work on weekends and be available on call after 5pm on weekdays. The nanny (nannies) may be required to live in during weekends and occasionally stay overnight on weekdays.
The position may also involve travel, so flexibility and a long-term commitment are essential.

Vacancy duties and responsibilities
- Weekend Care : Provide attentive and nurturing care to the 1-year-old and 6-year-old during weekends, ensuring their safety, well-being, and engagement in age-appropriate activities.
- On-Call Availability : Be available on call after 5pm on weekdays to assist when needed.
- Overnight Stays : Occasionally stay overnight on weekdays, as required, to provide support and care.
- Travel Assistance : Be prepared for occasional travel with the family, both domestically and internationally, providing consistent care and support during trips.
- Child Development : Foster a stimulating and educational environment, encouraging the children's growth and development through creative play and learning activities.
- Meal Preparation : Prepare nutritious and age-appropriate meals and snacks for the children, taking into consideration any dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Light Housekeeping : Assist with light housekeeping duties related to the children, such as tidying up their play area and doing their laundry.
- Safety : Maintain a safe environment, following safety guidelines and protocols.
Profile requirement
- Proven experience as a nanny, with a strong background in caring for infants and young children.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Excellent references from former employers.
- Flexibility to work primarily on weekends and be on call after 5pm on weekdays.
- Willingness to occasionally stay overnight on weekdays and travel with the family.
- Enthusiasm for child development and creating engaging activities.
- Strong communication skills and a nurturing personality.
