We are looking for an experienced English-speaking nanny for our clients residing in Paris, who will take care of their two children, aged 6 and 1. The candidate will be responsible for full-time care of the younger child and after-school care of the older child who is fluent in English. This role will provide reliable support to the family.

This position is located in Paris 8th (75).
It is a full-time permanent position to be filled in mid-October 2023.

Vacancy duties and responsibilities

• Take care of the children on a daily basis and ensure their well-being.
• Ensure that the children receive the necessary attention for their proper development.
• Supervise the daily routines of the baby: feeding, meals, naps, and activities.
• Ensure the child's comfort during rest times.
• Perform childcare and hygiene tasks for the child.
• Organize fun and educational indoor or outdoor activities (reading, games, songs, walks).
• Assist the youngest child in learning daily life skills.
• Pick up the older child from school and accompany them to activities.
• Manage the evening routine (activities, snacks, homework, bath, dinner).
• Be able to assist with the 6-year-old child's homework.
• Prepare meals for the children and oversee their breakfast/lunch/dinner.
• Be available to care for the children during the Toussaint (2 weeks) and Christmas (1 week) holidays.
• Communicate daily with the parents.
• Be available for one or two paid babysitting sessions per week.​

Profile requirement

• Male/Female with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position.
• Someone who loves children and is accustomed to caring for toddlers.
• English-speaking profile.
• Warm and caring personality.
• Sense of responsibility and initiative.
• Gentle, calm, attentive, and patient.
• Knowledge of child development and potential medical needs.
• Mastery of hygiene rules.
• Ability to prepare meals for children (simple, family-style cooking).

Nanny Salary
