Description of the Nanny/Housekeeper Job Offer

Our client residing in Val de Louyre and Caudeau (Dordogne) is looking for a Nanny/Housekeeper to take care of their home and ensure the well-being of 3 children.

Position available as soon as possible.
Permanent contract with provided accommodation.

Vacancy duties and responsibilities

• Accompanying and picking up the children from school, extracurricular activities, and other appointments.
• Assisting and supporting with homework.
• Suggesting age-appropriate activities for the children.
• Maintaining and tidying up the children's bedrooms.
• Taking care of the children in the absence of the parents.
• Ensuring the safety and hygiene rules for the children.
• Handling the children's laundry (sorting, washing, ironing, and organizing).
• Preparing meals for the family (family-oriented, balanced, and diverse cuisine).
• Doing grocery shopping and other necessary errands.
• Managing food and cleaning supplies inventory.
• Receiving deliveries and packages.
• Reporting to the parents.​

Profile requirement

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar professional setting.
• Energetic and active individual.
• Organized and independent person.
• Inherent kindness with children.
• Appreciation for working in a rural environment.
• Confidentiality assured for the employer.
• French speaking, English a plus.
• Driver's license required​

Job Conditions

• Workplace: Val de Louyre et Caudeau (35 km from Périgueux and 30 km from Bergerac) - Dordogne.
• Employment contract: Permanent contract (CDI).
• Working conditions: Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week.
• Probationary period: 1 month, renewable.​

Nanny / Housekeeper Salary

Starting from 2300 euros/net per month (depending on the profile).
