A warm and loving family based in Cape Town, South Africa, is seeking an experienced Maternity Nanny for their precious 2-month-old baby girl. The family values a nurturing, supportive, and reliable presence to assist with the care of their newborn.
This is a permanent role (minimum one-year commitment) starting as soon as possible.
This position is live out and would be ideal for local candidates, but the client can provide a bedroom in their house for non-local candidates too.

Vacancy duties and responsibilities
- Provide attentive and loving care for the newborn baby during daytime hours.
- Attend to the baby's needs, including feeding, changing, and comforting.
- Maintain a safe and hygienic environment for the baby.
- Create a stimulating and developmentally appropriate atmosphere.
- Collaborate with the night-shift Maternity Nanny to ensure a smooth transition in care.
Profile requirement
- Proven experience in caring for newborns is essential.
- Proven experience in working for affluent families.
- Excellent references from former employers.
- Familiarity with newborn care, including feeding, diapering, and sleep routines.
- Excellent understanding of infant safety and health practices.
- Discretion and respect for the family's privacy.
- Flexibility to adapt to the baby's changing schedule and needs.
- Eligible to work in South Africa, ideally in Cape Town
Job Conditions
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00/6:00 pm
Maternity Nurse Salary
To be discussed depending on the profile.
