Duties and responsibilities
- Providing help and support to the mother and her little baby
- Staying with the baby
- Taking care of the baby
- Teaching the mother to care for her baby
- Providing emotional support to the mother in moments of weakness
- Bathing and swaddling the newborn
- Assisting the mother in looking after the baby’s clothes
- Laundry and ironing of the baby’s linen and clothes
- Singing lullabies to the baby
- Making list of products needed for the mother and the baby
- Compliance with personal hygiene rules
