An active and dynamic Live-in French Governess is required for a family with 4 children (11, 9, 8, 4 y.o.) based in Kuwait. This is a travelling position, the family spends their time between Kuwait, France and the USA.
The children are trilingual, the governess will focus on teaching French and the children's development; there is also an assistant nanny to help with childcare duties. The mother is very much involved too so the governess has to be comfortable with shared care.

Vacancy duties and responsibilities
- Focus on teaching the French language through activities and play
- Engage children in fun activities and keep them busy
- Stimulate their development
- Looking after the children, the main focus will be on the younger ones (there's an assistant nanny to help)
- Take the children to activities (tennis, music, etc) and school
- Arrange breakfast for the children, ensure they are ready for school
- Occasional dinner preparation for the children
- Travel with the family, very often last minute
- Implement rules according to the parents' requirements
Profile requirement
- Experience in a similar position with excellent references
- Native French speaker
- Conversational English
- Experience with teenagers
- Energetic person who loves outdoor activities (hiking, bike, tennis, etc)
- Easy going person with a can-do attitude
- Firm but fun
- Able to swim and ride a bicycle
- Driving licence
- Animal lover
- Flexible and comfortable with last-minute changes
- Willing to be vaccinated against Covid
Job Conditions
- Schedule: 5 days per week_from Sunday to Thursday, flexible hours.
- Accommodation and car: A separate 2-bedroom apartment and own car in Kuwait; own room in France and in the USA.
