Live-in Full Time Governess Job Offer and Vacancy in Dubai, United Arab Emirates
A European family of four (husband, wife, 3 year old daughter, 2 year old son) based in Dubai, the UAE, is in need of a Governess to assist them with the care and education of their children.
The candidate must be fluent in English, other languages are a bonus but not necessary. The family already has a full time maid so the role would be exclusively childcare.

Vacancy duties and responsibilities
- childcare and babysitting
- school pick-up and drop-off
- taking children to after-school activities
- supervising the maid
- arranging educational activities for the children (cooking, reading, bike-riding, assisting with homework)
- bathing and dressing the children
- arranging healthy meal plan for the children (maid can do the food preparation, and nanny/governess to supervise the cooking)
- grocery shopping and running errands
- travel with the family when needed (2-3 times per year)
Profile requirement
- Childcare experience essential
- Experience working in a school or nursery with excellent references
- Strong English language capability is essential
- Driver’s license (and confident driver) a bonus, but not essential
- It is a big benefit if the person is already located in Dubai. However, it's not essential
Job Conditions
- Schedule: The role would be 6 days per week (with Fridays off). It will be a full time job and the hours would need to be flexible.
- Conditions: The role would be live-in. A separate bedroom with a bathroom will be provided.
