Live-in Full Time Governess/Nanny Job Offer in Ljubljana, Slovenia Description
A family living in Ljubljana, Slovenia is looking for a live-in full time nanny/governess to help with boy 6 and girl 4. The children are both in school. Position normally includes lots of travel (UK, Italy, Austria, Croatia, USA, other) during school holidays. This is now on hold due to Covid.
Vacancy duties and responsibilities
The nanny/governess would help the children with:
- Getting ready for school
- School drop off/pick up (if not a driver, car service will be provided)
- Tidying and organizing the bedrooms, playroom and children’s toys and clothes in other areas.
- Children’s laundry (washing and ironing)
- Managing children’s schedule
- Preparing afternoon/weekend activities
- Taking them to activities/playdates
- Help with homework
- Additional lessons
- Playtime (arts and crafts, swimming, role play, reading, board games, .....)
- Outdoor Play
- In charge of all children’s meals (when necessary)
- Bath and Bedtime
Profile requirement
The ideal candidate would be:
- Fluent in English, French a plus
- 2 years+ sole charge/shared care similar experience
- Kind with lots of Energy and Patience
- Strong swimmer
- Non smoker
- Likes outdoor play
- Confident in cooking simple organic children’s meals
- Detail oriented
- Excited about traveling and living abroad
Job Conditions
Ideally the nanny/governess would work
Term time: Wednesday-Friday (6:30-10am; 2:30-8pm) and Saturday- Sunday (8am-8pm) with 2 evenings babysitting.
School Break: 8am-8pm Monday-Friday with 2 evenings babysitting
