Full time French Travelling Nanny Job Offer in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
An active Family based in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is seeking a bright, active and highly educated Travelling French Speaking Nanny to assist with the care and development of their child, aged one year old.
The family will be spending 6 to 8 weeks traveling Europe and require a traveling nanny with experience in this region to join them. A truly exceptional nanny may also expect an offer to return to the Middle East with the family on a more permanent contract.
The candidate will be responsible creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for the children. Excellent cooking skills are a plus, as preparing simple nutritious children meals will also be required.
The Nanny will assist in cleaning up after the children. The ideal candidate loves children and will partner with the parents to instil the family’s philosophy on a daily basis. The ideal candidate is flexible in terms of schedule to accommodate the family’s needs. Professional etiquette and the ability to observe Employer/Employee boundaries are required at all times.

Vacancy duties and responsibilities
- Meeting the children’s social, emotional and physical needs
- Providing age-appropriate activities
- Preparing nutritious meals for the children when needed
- Administering night feedings as needed
- Covering night shifts if the children develop inconsistent sleeping patterns
- Dressing the children
- Packing and unpacking duties for travel
- Bathing the children
- Assisting with self-care and hygiene, including diapering
- Potty training
- Swimming with the children
- Perform housework related to child care, including washing the child's clothes, cleaning up after meals, tidying play areas, and washing bottles
- Play with the children, both indoors and outdoors
- Disciplining the children, when necessary and in accordance with the Family's parenting principles
- Maintaining organization of the children's wardrobe and toy collection
- Reading to the children
- Running errands/ shopping for the children
- Singing nursey rhymes to the children
- Instilling good manners and a sense of responsibility
- Taking the children on age-appropriate outings
- Willing to work long hours, weekends, days off, holidays, etc. based on the needs of the family
- Transporting the child to and from activities and appointments
- Accompanying parents to medical appointments
- Traveling with the family both domestically and internationally
- All other duties as assigned
Profile requirement
- At least 5-10 years of previous nanny experience
- Must hold a driver license
- Pre-school Teacher Certification required. Specialized Education/ Training preferred
- Bilingual (Portuguese or Spanish) speaker but English proficiency
- Knowledge of the physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development of children
- Flexible to work with an extensive travel schedule
- Ability to work well with others including members of the household staff
- Training in early childhood education preferred
- The ability to make close and trusting relationships with parents and children
- Ability to plan, organize, and multitask with minimal supervision
- Ability to plan activities that are fun and help development of children
- Commitment to health and safety
- The ability to stay calm under pressure
- Experience caring for toddlers
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Clean background check
- Authorization to legally accept employment in the E.U.
- Ability to work independently
