Governess Job offer and Vacancy
A new live in governess position is available in a fully staffed household in near Nicoasia, Cyprus for three children.
The ideal candidate would be kind and firm with teaching qualifications/montessori experience or a Norland trained nanny.
Travel is not required.
This is a live-in position, accommodation is provided.
Profile
- Norland Trained/Teacher/Montessori trained
- Long Term position
- 5 years of experience as a governess in a similar position
- Fluent English, Turkish would be a plus but not a must
- Sleep training is a plus
- Organised, active and kind
The governess will initially have sole charge of one girl who is currently 2 years and 3 months old. As of next September, when she will begin school, the role will progress into having responsibility of twin boys who will then be aged 1 year and 4 months old.
There are other nannies; however an essential priority of the governess’ duties is education.
The governess is expected to assist with learning, organising a schedule, encourage children to learn through play, organise activities and taking them on outings.
