English speaker Nanny/Housekeeper Job offer and Vacancy
French Family based in Paris, France, is looking for a English speaking nanny/housekeeper to take care of their daughter aged 10 and to ensure immaculate cleanliness of their flat.
This is a live in or live out position. Start in 2019
Desired profile
- At least 5 years of experience as a housekeeper
- Proven professional experience with several children
- Quality references required
- Good cooking skills
- Good level of English
- Good level of French
- Available and flexible
- Autonomous, organized, dynamic and efficient person
- Friendly with children, but capable of authority
Duties and Responsibilities
- Cleaning and complete maintenance of the apartment (cleaning floors, windows, all rooms)
- Taking care of linen and family clothes, their storage and careful ironing
- Food shopping and miscellaneous purchases
- Taking items to dry cleaners, shoemaker, etc
- Take care of floral decoration
- Cooking for the family (varied and balanced meals)
- Cost management of small purchases
- Support of the logistics of the apartment (mail, parcels, stocks, replenishment, reception)
- Informal service during professional dinners
- Availability to travel with the family if necessary
- Being at home when the child is at home
- Take the child to the school and pick her up at the exit (30 min by metro)
- Take the child to extra-curricular activities (ballet, pony) or to friends and to the doctor
- Preparing lunch for the child (lunch box)
- Assist and support the child with school homework
- Communicate with parents about their daughter's environment and everyday life
Working conditions
From Monday to Friday
Flexibility may requested at weekends if needed
5 weeks of annual leave
Accommodation available but not required: Furnished 20 m2 duplex within the building (sitting area, kitchen, shower, sleeping area on mezzanine).
Proposed salary: 2,200 to 2,500 Euro net monthly depending on the profile and whether the position is live in or live out.
