Online ASL Tutor Job and Vacancy
An experienced Teacher of American Sign Language (ASL) and Written English is required for a 9-year-old boy from Kiev, Ukraine. The lessons will be conducted over Skype so the right candidate must have experience of giving online lessons.
The boy has some knowledge of ASL but he has not used it much. The teacher should also be knowledgeable about the elementary school curriculum and be able to teach school subjects.
Start: As soon as possible.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Plan lessons according to the student’s level
· Teach American Sign Language
· Teach the boy to write in English
· Teach & explain school subjects if required
· Evaluate the boy’s progress and provide feedback to parents
Requirements
· Preferably a native English speaker
· Teaching degree
· Relevant experience
· Verifiable references
Schedule: Several hours a day, 2-3 times a week, maybe more_ to be discussed
