Job description

Our esteemed clients, a dynamic family of five based in Dorado, Puerto Rico, are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Live-In Nanny to become an integral part of their household.

The family splits their time between Dorado and Greenwich, Connecticut, and is scheduled to relocate permanently to Greenwich by the summer of 2026.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing exceptional care in private household settings, with experience managing the needs of multiple children simultaneously. A demonstrated ability to travel with the family is essential, as well as a commitment to creating a nurturing, safe, and structured environment for the children.

This is a unique opportunity for a professional nanny who is passionate about supporting a busy family and can adapt to their evolving lifestyle needs, including travel between locations.

Responsibilities

Offer dedicated full-time childcare to three children (ages 9, 7, and 3), providing a safe, nurturing and enriching environment while attending to their daily needs and overall wellbeing.
Transport children to and from school, extracurricular activities, social events, and appointments.
Oversee after-school activities, assist with homework, and prepare children for their evening routines.
Maintain structured schedules, including bedtime routines and sleep training when necessary.
Prepare daily meals for the children, including lunches and dinners, while accommodating dietary preferences.
Perform light housekeeping duties such as tidying up common areas, children’s laundry, and keeping play areas organized.
Run errands, including dry cleaning, medication pick-ups, and other household tasks as needed.
Provide basic pet care for two small dogs, including daily walks, occasional feeding, and ensuring their well-being.
Maintain open communication with parents and coordinate closely with the mother in the evenings.
Assist in navigating situations that may require Spanish-speaking support.
Be flexible and able to accommodate last-minute schedule changes or transportation needs.
Engage in active play and sports with the children, such as soccer, bike riding, and swimming.
Must be energetic, personable, and comfortable in a lively, social household.

Requirements

A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Nanny in a private household.
Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
CPR and First Aid certified.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with others.
Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
High level of integrity, maintaining professionalism an confidentiality in all aspects of the role.
A self-starter who can anticipate the family's needs, manage daily tasks with minimal direction, and maintain a smooth and organized home environment.

Work conditions

Title: Full-time, Live-in Nanny.
Position to be filled: ASAP.
Workplace: Dorado, Puerto Rico & Greenwich, Connecticut.
Employment contract: Permanent.
Working hours: Full-time, five days per week, flexibility for weekend hours as needed.
Gross hourly salary: Depends on the experience.
