Job description

Our client, a family residing in Saadiyat, Abu Dhabi, is seeking a Full-time Nanny/Housekeeper to join their household.

The family consists of a 10-year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl, and they already have a housekeeper and a driver. This role will primarily focus on the well-being of the children, with some light assistance in housekeeping tasks.

Responsibilities

Primary Role: Ensure the well-being of the children and assist in their daily routines.
School Support: Follow up on school emails and assist with school activities.
Engagement: Actively engage and interact with the children, ensuring they are mentally and physically stimulated.
Encourage Independence: Support the children in practicing independence and responsibility in their daily tasks.
Meal Preparation: Prepare meals for the children, including lunch boxes, cook meals for the entire family, and assist with menu planning.
Stock Inventory: Keep track of meal supplies, cleaning materials, and household essentials.
Grocery Shopping: Plan grocery needs and handle shopping for food and household items.
Housekeeping & Cleaning: Assist in housekeeping duties and help clean the house as needed, ensuring the home is maintained in an orderly and clean condition.
Errands & Assistance: Run errands and assist with general family needs as required.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Nanny/Housekeeper, with a strong understanding of child care.
Basic cooking skills and a willingness to learn new recipes.
Excellent organizational skills.
Honest, trustworthy, and respectful.
Friendly and caring attitude toward children.
Pet-friendly.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with other household staff.
Demonstrates initiative, strong teamwork, and the ability to work independently.

Work conditions

Accommodation: Provided (Live-in role).
Working Hours: Full-time, up to 7:00 pm (with a 2-hour break). Flexibility is essential.
Time Off: 1 day off per week.
Starting Date: ASAP.
Sponsorship: Visa, annual leave, and return ticket will be provided.
Salary: AED 3,500 – AED 4,000 (depending on experience).
