Job description
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Nanny/Housekeeper to provide exceptional care for three children for our client in Palm Jumeirah, Dubai.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and enthusiastic about contributing to the children’s development and daily routines.
This role involves both childcare and housekeeping duties, including school/nursery drop-off and pick-up, managing the playroom, and engaging in various activities with the children. This is a full time and permanent role – to be filled as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and nurturing care for the youngest child (2 & half year old-boy), including feeding, changing, and engaging in age-appropriate activities.
- Transport children to and from school/nursery, ensuring punctuality and safety.
- Establish and maintain a consistent daily routine for the children, including meals, naps, and playtime.
- Plan and supervise engaging and educational activities, both indoors and outdoors, that support the children’s development and interests.
- Offer emotional support and positive reinforcement to foster a loving and supportive environment.
- Keep the playroom clean, organized, and well-stocked with age-appropriate toys and materials.
- Ensure all areas used by the children, including bedrooms and play areas, are tidy and hygienic.
- Take children to various activities outside the home, such as parks, classes, or playdates, as per the daily schedule and weather conditions.
- Actively engage in activities that promote the cognitive, emotional, and social development of the children.
- Incorporate educational games and learning opportunities into daily routines to support the children’s growth.
Requirements
- Proven experience in housekeeping and cooking roles.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to follow recipes and adapt to new cooking techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices.
- Friendly, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to take direction.
