Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Housekeeper/Nanny/Cook for a prominent family in Dubai. This live-in, full-time role offers an exciting opportunity for someone who has a genuine love for working with children, extensive experience in housekeeping, and basic cooking skills.

The position is available immediately and is intended for a long-term commitment.

Responsibilities

Childcare:

Proven experience in providing high-quality care to young children, including infants.
Background in early childhood education or a related field is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of child development stages and ability to implement ageappropriate activities.
Experience in managing daily childcare routines and addressing the needs of multiple children.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children and collaborate with parents.
Ability to remain patient, calm, and organized in a busy household environment.

Housekeeping:

Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing various areas of the home.
Manage laundry, including washing, drying, ironing, and folding clothes.
Organize and maintain cleanliness in all rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas.

Cooking:

Prepare basic meals when needed, primarily on the chef’s days off or during travel.
Training will be provided for basic cooking tasks.
Be open to learning and adapting to new recipes as preferred by the client.
Collaborate with the client to plan meals and adjust recipes according to feedback.

Additional Tasks:

Assist with various household needs such as running errands and helping with occasional family requirements.

Requirements

Proven experience in housekeeping and cooking roles.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to follow recipes and adapt to new cooking techniques.
Knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices.
Friendly, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong communication skills and a willingness to take direction.

Work conditions

Type: Full-time, live-in position.
Location: Dubai, UAE.
Schedule: 6 days a week with 1 day off (schedule may vary).
