Job description

We are looking for an experienced English-speaking nanny for our clients residing in Paris, who will take care of their two children, aged 6 and 1. The candidate will be responsible for full-time care of the younger child and after-school care of the older child who is fluent in English. This role will provide reliable support to the family.

This position is located in Paris 8th (75).
It is a full-time permanent position to be filled in mid-October 2023.

Responsibilities

Take care of the children on a daily basis and ensure their well-being.
Ensure that the children receive the necessary attention for their proper development.
Supervise the daily routines of the baby: feeding, meals, naps, and activities.
Ensure the child's comfort during rest times.
Perform childcare and hygiene tasks for the child.
Organize fun and educational indoor or outdoor activities (reading, games, songs, walks).
Assist the youngest child in learning daily life skills.
Pick up the older child from school and accompany them to activities.
Manage the evening routine (activities, snacks, homework, bath, dinner).
Be able to assist with the 6-year-old child's homework.
Prepare meals for the children and oversee their breakfast/lunch/dinner.
Be available to care for the children during the Toussaint (2 weeks) and Christmas (1 week) holidays.
Communicate daily with the parents.
Be available for one or two paid babysitting sessions per week.

Requirements

Male/Female with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position.
Someone who loves children and is accustomed to caring for toddlers.
English-speaking profile.
Warm and caring personality.
Sense of responsibility and initiative.
Gentle, calm, attentive, and patient.
Knowledge of child development and potential medical needs.
Mastery of hygiene rules.
Ability to prepare meals for children (simple, family-style cooking).
