Job description
A family consisting of two adults, a 3-year-old girl, and an expected newborn at the beginning of the year is searching for an experienced and mobile Governess.
The individual in this role will be responsible for organizing the daily life of the children. The candidate will act as a true liaison for the parents, demonstrate flexibility, and provide unwavering support to the family. This is a permanent position with accommodation provided in an independent apartment near the property.
The position is based in Aix-en-Provence.
Responsibilities
Care for the children on a daily basis in a nurturing family environment.
Provide educational support for schoolwork.
Assist with reading and writing.
Teach good manners.
Supervise daily routines (activities, baths, meals, etc.).
Establish and maintain open communication with the parents.
Ensure the safety of the children.
Accompany and pick up the children from school.
Occasionally prepare meals for the children (healthy and varied family cooking).
Manage the children's laundry, organize their wardrobes, and prepare luggage for vacations.
Occasionally care for the newborn (monitoring, diaper changes).
Provide daily assistance and support to the mother.
Accompany the family on trips.
Flexibility in the evenings and on weekends.
Requirements
Male or female, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Respect for the confidentiality and discretion of the family's private information.
Demonstrate autonomy, responsibility, and complete trustworthiness.
Good adaptability.
Warm, dynamic, and flexible personality.
Caring and reassuring.
Valid driver's license.
Valid passport.
