Job description

We are looking for an experienced Nanny for our clients residing in Paris who will take care of their two children, aged 6 and 1. The candidate will provide full-time care for the younger child and after-school care for the older child, who is fluent in English. In doing so, she will provide reliable support to the family.

This position is located in Paris 8th (75).

It is a full-time permanent position available from mid-October 2023.

Responsibilities

Take care of the children on a daily basis and ensure their well-being.
Ensure that the children receive the necessary attention for their proper development.
Supervise the daily routines of the baby, including feeding, meals, naps, and activities.
Ensure the child's comfort during rest times.
Provide personal care and hygiene for the child.
Organize indoor and outdoor fun and educational activities (reading, games, songs, walks).
Assist the youngest child in learning daily life skills.
Pick up the older child from school and accompany them to activities.
Manage the evening routine (activities, snacks, homework, hygiene, dinner).
Assist the 6-year-old with homework.
Prepare meals for the children and feed them.
Be available to care for the children during the All Saints' (2 weeks) and Christmas (1 week) holidays.
Communicate daily with the parents.
Be available for one or two paid babysitting sessions per week.

Requirements

Male/Female candidate with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position.
Someone who loves children and is accustomed to caring for young children.
English-speaking profile.
Warm and caring personality.
Possess a sense of responsibility and initiative.
Gentle, calm, attentive, and patient personality.
Knowledge of child development and potential medical needs.
Mastery of hygiene rules.
Able to prepare meals for children (simple and family-style cooking).
