Job description

A family composed of two adults and a 2 and a half year old child is looking for an experienced nanny to take care of the little girl on a daily basis and create a reassuring and caring environment around the child. A baby is due soon.

The candidate, who will be a real relay for the parents, will be flexible and will help the family by providing them with unfailing support on a daily basis.

The position is located in Paris 7e and requires accompanying the family on planned and organized trips to the south of France or elsewhere.

This is a permanent position to be filled in August 2023 and offers the possibility to be housed.

Responsibilities

Take care of the child on a daily basis in a caring family environment.
Organize fun, educational and creative activities inside and outside the property.
Offer indoor activities (reading, games, painting, cooking, crafts, etc.).
Provide outdoor activities (walks, museum visits, etc.).
Supervise daily routines (nap, activities, bath, meals, etc.).
When Mrs. is away, stay in the apartment to take care of the child day and night (on average one to two nights per week, twice a month).
Take care of the tidying and organization of the room and the playroom.
Preparing luggage and toys for trips.
Establish and maintain good communication with parents at all times and inform them of their children's progress.
Respect and accommodate parents' preferences and needs regarding discipline, routines, activities and living/travel arrangements.
Accompany the family on travel during school breaks.
Be available an average of 3 weekends per month to care for the child (with weekday recovery).

Requirements

M/F, 3 to 5 years experience in a similar position.
Caring, reassuring, able to give a structured framework to the child.
Happy, smiling, likes to play, sing, laugh.
Integrity, discretion.
Autonomous, responsible and trustworthy.
Warm, dynamic and flexible person.
Very good elocution in French.
A basic level of English is desired.
Valid European passport.

Work conditions

Job title : Mobile Nanny.
Position to be filled : August 2023.
Workplace : Paris 7e, with regular travels (During travels, the position is housed).
Work contract : CDI - Full time.
Working hours : Full time, Monday to Friday and approximately 3 weekends per month (with recuperation).
Possibility to be housed : 1 independent studio of 20m2 in the same condominium as the family.
