Our client is seeking a dedicated, experienced, nurturing, and caring individual to join family as a live-out Nanny (M/F) and create a stimulating structured household environment for their two daughters, five & three years old. The ideal candidate (M/F) will have a genuine love, support and nurturing for children, be proactive in planning, mentoring and engaging in educational and recreational activities, and support the children's overall well-being and development. Be a mentor and their rock, second-Mom type.
Focus is to create a structured consistent planned activity schedule, prep meals while maintaining a stable, nurturing, organized household schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and high-quality care for the children, always ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Plan and engage in age-appropriate educational and recreational activities to promote the children's physical, emotional, and intellectual development.
- Assist with homework, school projects, and educational enrichment activities.
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment in the children's play and living areas.
- Assist with light household tasks related to the children, such as laundry, tidying up, and organizing.
- Transport children to and from school, extracurricular activities, swimming, playdates, and appointments as needed.
- Communicate regularly with parents about the children's daily activities, progress, and any concerns.
- Follow the family's routines and schedules and be flexible to accommodate changes as needed.
- Administer basic first aid, CPR and medication as required.
- Uphold the family's values and reinforce positive behavior and discipline.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a nanny (H/F), some housekeeper duties is required.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe home environment.
- Genuine love, nurturing for children and a patient demeanor.
- Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities.
- Some travel - all expenses covered while traveling.
- Driving children to and from school and after school activities.
- Able to swim.
Working Conditions:
•Live-out, long term, permanent position
• Flexible schedule: six or eight-hour days to be discussed with Principal
