Description of the Live-in Nanny (M/F) Job Offer in Miami, Florida, US
Client is seeking a dedicated, experienced and versatile Nanny (M/F) to join household and care for six-month child. The ideal candidate (M/F) will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized home, providing nurturing childcare, and cook & prep nutritious meals.
This is a full-time position that requires a proactive, reliable, and caring individual who can manage multiple responsibilities efficiently, maintain schedule of children’s activities, assist with babysitting, run household schedule, run errands, keep house in order, shopping and cooking.
This is a full time, long-term position. Vacation, benefits and medical will be discussed on an individual basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Housekeeping:
- Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing.
- Handle laundry, including washing, drying, ironing, and folding clothes and linens.
- Organize and maintain household supplies and equipment.
- Make beds and change linens as needed.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms and kitchens.
- Run errands such as grocery shopping and dry-cleaning pick-ups.
- Report any necessary repairs or replacements.
Childcare:
- Provide attentive and loving care to six-month child, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities and educational games.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks.
- Maintain daily routines, including naps, feeding, and hygiene.
- Transport to and from activities, and appointments.
- Communicate with parents about children's progress, behavior, and any concerns.
Cooking:
- Plan weekly menus and prepare healthy, balanced meals daily.
- Cater to any dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Shop for groceries and manage pantry inventory.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including proper storage of food items.
- Prepare meals for special occasions and family events as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven professional experience as a nanny, housekeeper, and cook.
- Strong organizational skills, scheduling, calendar, and multitasking.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning supplies, equipment, and best practices.
- Ability to prepare a variety of nutritious meals.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position, some travel.
- Live-in arrangement with own private accommodations.
