Our VIP living in Freetown (Sierra Leone - West Africa) is looking for a dedicated and qualified Caretaker/Tutor (M/F) to assist an 8 y.o child.
Position to be filled ASAP. Long term contract - Full time. Live-in role.

Vacancy duties and responsibilities

​

•  Provide attentive and loving care to an 8 y.o child, ensuring his safety and well-being at all time.
• Maintain schedule of child's activities.
• Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities and educational games.
• Homework monitoring, intellectual stimulation, awakening.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks.
• Maintain daily routines, including feeding and hygiene.
• Maintain in perfect order child's room (cleaning, clothes, and toys storage).
• Outings, walks, visits...
• Transport to and from activities and appointments.
• Communicate with parents about child's progress, behavior and any other concerns.
• Babysitting upon request.

Profile requirement

• Proven experience in Childcare/Tutoring within a family
• Person with a real educational sense.
• To be a proposal force to ensure the intellectual and physical development of the child in the best conditions.
• Flexibility and patience required.
• Good communication.
• Organizational skills.
• Trust and discretion.
• English speaking & French would be a plus.
• Driving license.

Job Conditions

• Work place : Freetown (Sierra Leone - West Africa).
• Starting date : ASAP.
• Type of contract : Permanent - full time.
• Flexible working hours.
• Live-in position.

Salary

​5500 - 6000 USD/net/month (according to profile)
