Requirements

  • Experience as a Maternity Nurse for private families
  • Fluent English
  • Maternity nurse training would be a plus
  • Calm and friendly person

  • Ability to teach in a calm and clear manner
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Neat appearance

Duties and responsibilities

  • Providing help and support to the mother and her little baby
  • Staying with the baby
  • Taking care of the baby
  • Teaching the mother to care for her baby 
  • Providing emotional support to the mother in moments of weakness
  • Bathing and swaddling the newborn
  • Assisting the mother in looking after the baby’s clothes
  • Laundry and ironing of the baby’s linen and clothes
  • Singing lullabies to the baby
  • Making list of products needed for the mother and the baby
  • Compliance with personal hygiene rules
